Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a CT Scan Technologist for a Days shift in Roswell, NM. The role requires 2+ years of experience and ARRT (CT) certification, with BLS and NM license if applicable. You will perform CT exams and related radiographic procedures in an inpatient/outpatient setting under a Radiologist, with Cerner Change Healthcare PACS in use.

The schedule is 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with rotating call; 5x8 preferred, 4x10 may be possible. Local candidates within 50 miles are not preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Graduate of an AMA accredited radiologic technology program.
• Proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning (head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities).
• Experience with biopsy/drainage procedures, contrast media studies, cross-sectional anatomy.
• Knowledge of CT system processing and sterile procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform all CT exams and x-ray procedures.
• Inpatient and outpatient imaging settings.
• Days shift 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with rotating call.
• 5x8 schedules preferred; 4x10 schedules may be accommodated.
• No floating required.
• EMR system used: Cerner Change Healthcare PACS.
• Provide fluoroscopy, portable radiography, C-arm, and OR imaging under radiologist direction.
• Scrub color: Navy Blue.
• Maximum RTO of 1 week per request.
• Does not accept local candidates within 50 miles.
• Returning travelers not considered if previously employed as perm staff at the facility.
