Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a community hospital setting, requiring 2+ years of CT experience and proficiency with GE equipment.

You will perform CT studies across abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, and chest, using Meditech for charting and PACS for image handling. The role features a night shift (3x12) with a 39–40 hour week and a 13-week assignment with potential extension.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification and BLS are required.
• Minimum 2 years CT Technologist experience.
• GE equipment experience required.
• Meditech charting system experience required.
• Community hospital experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety and PPE.
• Supervisory reference within the past year required.

Responsibilities

• Support adult acute care, outpatient, ED and ICU patients.
• Night shift, 3x12 hours, Thu–Sat, 7:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
• Approximately 39–40 hours per week on an overnight schedule.
• Perform abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/MSK and chest CT studies.
• Utilize GE CT equipment and PACS system.
• Use Meditech charting system.
• 13-week assignment with potential extension.
• First-time travelers considered.
• Candidates must not live within 50 miles of the facility.
• PA fingerprinting and ChildLine clearance after contract signing.
• Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of signing.
• Prev permanent or per diem employees must be separated 18 months before returning as traveler.

• GE equipment experience required
• Meditech charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Skilled in image display and post processing including 3D rendering, MPR, and ROI measurement
• Proficient in contrast media preparation and administration
• Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE
• 1 supervisory reference within the past year required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Community hospital setting supporting adult acute care, adult outpatient, emergency department, and ICU patients
• Night shift, 3x12 hours, Thursday through Saturday, 7:00 PM to 8:00 AM
• Approximately 39-40 hours per week on a blocked overnight schedule
• Performs abdomen and pelvis, head and neck, spine and musculoskeletal, and chest CT studies
• Utilizes GE CT equipment and PACS system
• Uses Meditech charting system
• 13-week assignment with possibility of extension
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Candidates must not live within a 50-mile radius of the facility
• PA fingerprinting and ChildLine clearance must be completed promptly after contract signing due to strict credentialing timelines
• Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of signing contract
• Previous permanent or per diem employees must have been separated from the facility for at least 18 months before returning as a traveler
