American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a CT Technologist for a weekend daytime assignment in Alaska. The role requires ARRT CT and ARRT R credentials, plus BLS, with at least 1 year of experience.

Shifts are 3x12 hours from Friday to Sunday, 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM, across inpatient and outpatient settings. The candidate should be proficient in CT imaging, post-processing, and using Siemens equipment with PACS; Epic RIS and related systems are a plus.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT, ARRT R and BLS certifications required.
• Minimum 1 year experience; 3–5 years preferred.
• Weekend 3x12 hour shifts Fri–Sun, 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM.
• Washington license required if applicable; proof of license application at consideration.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X‑ray imaging for inpatient and outpatient populations.
• Operate Siemens CT systems and PACS; assist with 3D reconstructions.
• Coordinate with nurses and physicians; ensure patient safety and protocol adherence.
• Prepare rooms, prep contrast media, IV starts, venipuncture.
• Float within the health system as needed; participate in on-call shifts as required.

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a weekend day shift assignment, requiring ARRT CT, ARRT R, and BLS certifications with at least 1 year of experience.

Requirements

• ARRT (R)(CT), ARRT R, ARRT CT, and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required, 3-5 years preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred but not required
• Skilled in image display and post-processing including 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and ROI measurement
• Experience with abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest CT procedures with and without contrast
• Proficiency in vascular CTA procedures including pulmonary embolism and aorta studies
• Skilled in contrast media preparation/administration, peripheral IV starts, and venipuncture
• Knowledge of isolation precautions, PPE, and radiation safety protocols
• Washington state license required if applicable; proof of license application required at time of consideration
• Two professional references from the past 2 years required, at least one from a supervisor

Responsibilities

• Performs CT and X-ray imaging for inpatient and outpatient populations across adult acute care, outpatient, ICU, and emergency department settings
• Top procedures include CT Head, CTA Head, CT Chest/Abdomen/Pelvis, CT Abdomen/Pelvis, CTA PE, CT Chest, CT C-Spine, and general X-rays
• Uses Siemens CT equipment and PACS, with preferred experience in Epic RIS, Fuji, and IntelliSpace PACS
• 3x12 hour day shifts, Friday through Sunday, 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM
• Requires minimal on-call coverage, approximately 3-5 overnight call shifts per assignment
• Must be willing to float within the health system as operationally necessary
• Prepares, supplies, and equips exam rooms to meet physician and procedure-specific requirements
• Integrates prior imaging studies, lab results, and patient history to optimize each exam
• Organizes daily work schedule and performs related clerical duties as needed
• First-time travelers are not required to have prior travel experience
• Candidates must disclose full vaccination status at time of consideration
• Previous employees of this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Local candidates within 60 miles of the facility are not accepted
• Start date may be delayed up to 8 weeks if Washington licensure is still in process
• RTO must be disclosed and approved prior to contract signing, with limits depending on offer type
