Responsibilities

• Acute care hospital setting in Radiology CT unit
• Work with GE VCT 64 slice and GE Brightspeed 16 slice CT scanners
• Uses Meditech EHR system
• Adults and geriatric patient population, some pediatric cases
• Night shift 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Wednesday
• Every other weekend with variable weekend hours
• No on-call requirements; no floating
• Academic community hospital with 24-hour ED and 2 cath labs

Job description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring ARRT certification and at least 1 year of CT experience.

Requirements

• ARRT certification required
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of CT experience required
• License required if applicable
• Strong critical thinking skills and CT-specific technical competency
• Experience with common diagnoses including PE, stroke, kidney stones, appendicitis, chest pain, abdominal pain, and MVA trauma

Responsibilities

• Acute care hospital setting in the Radiology department (2nd floor), CT unit
• 250-bed facility with average census of 100-110 patients
• Equipment includes GE VCT 64 slice and GE Brightspeed 16 slice CT scanners
• Uses Meditech EHR system
• Patient population is mostly adults and geriatric, with occasional pediatric cases
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Wednesday
• Every other weekend required with variable weekend hours to cover staff absences
• No on-call requirements
• No floating requirements
• Facility is an academic community hospital with comprehensive surgical services, 24-hour ED, cardiac rehabilitation, and 2 cath labs
• Designated Chest Pain Center and Certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center
• Team-oriented environment seeking candidates with a positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
• Scrubs of any color accepted; jeans and leggings not permitted
• Consent to random on-site drug screening and completion of a Criminal Questionnaire/Consent Form required
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel assignment
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
