Job summary

FiberTel, LLC in the Northwest seeks a Travel CDL Construction Worker/Laborer to support telecom utility projects in OR, WA, and ID. You will perform labor tasks, install and maintain underground cables, operate heavy equipment, and travel to sites with Foreman supervision.

Applicants must pass pre-employment drug screen, have a valid CDL or be willing to obtain one, and maintain a good driving record. CDL preferred for higher wage scales.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.
• Valid driver’s license; willing to obtain license if needed.
• Good driving record required.
• Basic knowledge of safety with tools and equipment.
• CDL is a plus (higher wage scales apply).
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and teammates.
• Willing to work in all weather conditions and travel.

Responsibilities

• Hand dig and perform general labor duties.
• Install and maintain underground telecommunications cabling.
• Operate or work around heavy equipment and machinery.
• Work in congested or remote areas.
• Maintain safety procedures and coordination on site.
• Prepare, set up, and clean construction sites.
• Learn crew roles and assist foreman as needed.
• Lift heavy equipment and supplies.
