Job summary

FiberTel, LLC is hiring a Telecom Construction Supervisor for our Portland, OR location. The role oversees multiple construction sites, schedules workers, and ensures projects meet plans, specifications, and codes.

The candidate should have 5+ years in telecom and 1-3 years as a foreman, with a valid license and driving record. Per diem and travel accommodations are included; CDL is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years telecom experience.
• 1-3 years of experience as a construction foreman.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Possess a valid driver’s license or be eligible and willing to obtain the required license for the position.
• A good driving record is required.
• Basic knowledge of operating various types of utility trucks and equipment safely.
• CDL is a plus and higher wages apply to CDL holders.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Willing and able to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strict build-out schedule and make changes as necessary to meet deadlines.
• Perform inspection of job sites and supervision of crew duties.
• Maintain a daily job-site log.
• Perform quality control duties per job site.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and verify work is completed.
• Ensure job site safety is being met.
• Mediate disputes or complaints with third parties.
• Approve daily timecard submissions for foreman and crew members.
