Job summary

FiberTel, LLC is hiring telecom construction laborers. This entry-level, full-time hourly role supports all phases of telecom construction—loading, digging, cabling, trenching, and testing—under Foreman/Supervisor guidance. Wage is $24–$26 per hour with full benefits and outdoor work in varied conditions.

Applicants must pass drug screening and background checks, have a valid driver’s license, and be able to work in all weather. CDL is a plus; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Possess a valid driver’s license or be willing to obtain it.
• Good driving record is required.
• Basic knowledge of operating utility trucks and equipment safely.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Load, drive, deliver, dig, remove and place construction materials and equipment.
• Hand dig using shovel or mechanical tools.
• Install and maintain underground telecommunications cabling.
• Operate around heavy equipment and machinery safely.
• Work in congested or remote areas.
• Maintain safe working conditions per regulations and policies.
• Support foreman/supervisor and crew as assigned.
• Set up and clean construction sites.
