FiberTel, LLC is hiring entry-level Construction Workers/Laborers to support telecom construction projects. You will assist in all phases of utility construction, including setting up sites, handling materials, and performing general labor tasks under Foreman/Supervisor direction.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Possess a valid driver’s license or be eligible.
• A good driving record is required.
• Basic knowledge of operating various utility trucks and equipment safely.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and equipment.
• Class A CDL is a plus (higher wage scales apply).
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees.
• Willing and able to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Load, drive, deliver, dig, and place construction materials and equipment.
• Hand dig using shovel or mechanical tools.
• Install and maintain underground telecommunications cabling.
• Operate or work around heavy equipment and machinery.
• Work in congested or remote areas.
• Maintain safe working habits according to regulations and policies.
• Assist foreman and crew; set up, prepare, and clean construction sites.
