Job summary

Hawthorne Health is expanding its Home Network and seeks dual-credentialed Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers to work Per Diem on a decentralized clinical study. You will travel regionally to patient homes to conduct in-home cardiac and vascular imaging visits, with travel expenses reimbursed per visit.

Responsibilities include setting up portable ultrasound equipment, obtaining informed consent, performing echocardiograms and vascular studies per protocol, and preparing preliminary reports.

Qualifications

• Active registration in cardiac imaging (RDCS/RCS) and vascular imaging (RVT/RVS) is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regionally are required.
• Proficiency with digital tools and ability to work independently in non-traditional settings is essential.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes for in-home imaging visits.
• Transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment.
• Explain procedures and obtain informed cooperation from participants.
• Perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging per protocol.
• Label images and prepare preliminary reports for review.
• Maintain patient safety and follow ASE imaging guidelines.
• Troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed.
