Job summary

Hawthorne Health is expanding its Home Network and is seeking dual-credentialed Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers to perform in-home imaging visits on a per-visit basis across the U.S. You will travel regionally to patient homes, set up portable ultrasound equipment, and conduct echocardiograms and vascular imaging per protocol.

Requirements include active cardiac and vascular imaging registrations, BLS, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work independently in non-traditional settings.

Qualifications

• Active registration in both cardiac and vascular imaging.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; willingness to travel regionally.
• Access to a PC and reliable internet; tech savvy with digital tools.
• Ability to work independently in non-traditional settings.
• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner.
• Adaptability in field-based environments.
• Time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel locally or across state lines to patient homes to conduct visits, volume varies by region.
• Transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment.
• Explain procedures and obtain informed cooperation from participant.
• Perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging studies per protocol.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety during imaging.
• Follow sponsor and protocol-specific imaging guidelines.
• Ensure accurate image acquisition and proper labeling for cardiology review.
• Complete preliminary report with measurements and sonographer comments.
• Maintain high-quality standards consistent with ASE Standards.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of imaging equipment.
