Job summary

Hawthorne Health is expanding its Home Network and seeks dual-credentialed Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers to work Per Diem on a decentralized clinical study. You will travel regionally to patient homes to conduct in-home imaging visits and will be paid on a per-visit basis.

Travel expenses including mileage, airfare, and hotel accommodations are reimbursed. A valid RDCS/RCS and RVT/RVS or ARDMS/CCIs is expected, with BLS and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Active registration in cardiac imaging (RDCS or RCS) and vascular imaging (RVT or RVS) through ARDMS/CCI.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; willingness to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Travel locally or regionally to patient homes to conduct visits.
• Transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment.
• Explain procedures and obtain informed cooperation from participants.
• Perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging studies per protocol.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety during imaging.
• Follow sponsor and protocol-specific imaging guidelines.
• Ensure accurate image acquisition and labeling for cardiology review.
• Complete preliminary report with measurements and sonographer comments.
• Maintain high-quality standards consistent with ASE Standards.
