Hawthorne Health is expanding its Home Network and seeking dual-credentialed Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers to work Per Diem on a decentralized clinical study. You will travel regionally to patient homes to perform in-home cardiac and vascular imaging visits, with pay per visit, and travel reimbursements for mileage, airfare, hotel, and related costs.

Qualifications

• Active registration in cardiac and vascular imaging (RDCS/RCS and RVT/RVS) is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable transportation required.
• Ability to travel regionally/local; in-home visits.

Responsibilities

• Travel locally or across state lines to patient homes to conduct visits.
• Transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment.
• Explain procedures and obtain informed cooperation from participant.
• Perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging studies per protocol.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety during imaging.
• Follow sponsor and protocol-specific imaging guidelines.
• Ensure accurate image acquisition and proper labeling for cardiology review.
• Complete preliminary report with measurements and sonographer comments.
• Maintain high-quality standards consistent with ASE Standards.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of imaging equipment.
