Hawthorne Health is seeking dual-credentialed Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers to work per diem on a decentralized clinical study. You will travel regionally to patient homes to perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging, with reimbursement for travel expenses per visit.

Active RDCS/RCS plus RVT/RVS with BLS, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work independently in non-traditional settings are required.

Qualifications

• Active registration in cardiac imaging (RDCS/RCS) and vascular imaging (RVT/RVS).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regionally.
• Access to a personal computer and reliable internet; tech savvy.
• Ability to work independently in field settings.
• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner.
• Adaptable in dynamic environments; strong time management.
• Organizational skills and attention to protocol.

Responsabilités

• Travel locally or across state lines to patient homes for visits.
• Transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment.
• Explain procedures and obtain informed cooperation from participants.
• Perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging per protocol.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety during imaging.
• Follow sponsor and protocol-specific imaging guidelines.
• Ensure accurate image acquisition and proper labeling for review.
• Complete preliminary report with measurements and comments.
• Maintain ASE-standard quality across imaging.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of imaging equipment.
