Job summary

Layton Construction seeks a Site Superintendent/Project Manager liaison to develop and manage a comprehensive job plan for assigned projects. You will oversee scheduling, access, manpower, and materials, while coordinating with architects, owners, and subcontractors to meet deadlines and budgets.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field and a minimum of 3 years in commercial construction, along with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in commercial construction.
• A valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of building codes and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and specifications to understand job requirements.
• Develop and manage a job plan including schedule, access, and manpower.
• Procure tools, labor, and some materials.
• Interact with architects and owners to resolve issues.
• Meet with General Superintendent for training and development.
• Communicate progress and issues to supervision and clients.
• Inspect work to ensure conformance with specs and schedules.
• Manage project progress, costs, and resource allocation.
