Job summary

Layton Construction is seeking a Site-based professional to develop, manage, and complete a comprehensive job plan under the guidance of the Site Superintendent and in partnership with the Project Manager.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in construction management or equivalent, plus 3 years of relevant experience in commercial construction. A valid driver's license and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years in commercial construction.
• Valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of building codes and blueprints.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive personnel management.
• Good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage job plan with schedule, access, manpower and requirements.
• Procure tools, labor and some materials.
• Coordinate with architects, owners, subcontractors and inspectors to resolve issues.
• Monitor progress and adjust schedules based on reports and costs.
• Prepare the Project Management Plan with the Project Manager; track changes.
