Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute, LLC is seeking an Admixture Tech II to perform complex technical tasks in preparing hazardous and nonhazardous agents under a dispensing practitioner. You will handle sterile/nonsterile preparations, maintain accurate records, and liaise with physicians, nursing, and procurement to ensure uninterrupted patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, required.

Responsibilities

• Review medication orders for accuracy and viability.
• Perform calculations for admixture of medications.
• Prepare sterile and non-sterile medications accurately and timely.
• Don PPE and ensure aseptic preparation for hazardous/non-hazardous drugs.
• Maintain records and logs for trials, drug inventory, and QA.
• Order, stock, and dispense medical supplies and drugs.
• Monitor temperatures of ambient and refrigerated drugs.
• Collaborate with Physicians, Nursing, Procurement to avoid care interruption.
• Travel 75–100% weekly as Admixture Tech floats.
