Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute, LLC is seeking an Admixture Tech II to perform complex tasks in preparing hazardous and nonhazardous agents under supervision. You will handle sterile/non-sterile prep, PPE usage, and maintain comprehensive records to support patient care.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent, required.
• College degree, preferred.
• Professional pharmacy technician certification (or equivalent), required; preferably CPhT from PTCB.
• Minimum of one year experience as a pharmacy or admixture technician, preferably in a clinical setting.
• IV sterile admixture experience, preferred.

Aufgaben

• Review medication orders for accuracy and needed products.
• Perform calculations for admixture of ordered medications.
• Prepare sterile and non-sterile medications as ordered.
• Don and doff PPE to ensure aseptic preparation of drugs.
• Maintain records and logs for trials, waste, and temperatures.
• Order, stock, and dispense medical supplies and drugs.
• Collaborate with Physicians, Nursing, Pharmacy Operations, and Procurement.
