Job summary

BCFS Health and Human Services is seeking an Advocate to provide trauma-informed advocacy and case management for survivors. This role includes crisis response, safety planning, and coordinating services in line with program and regulatory standards.

Expect regional travel, participation in an on-call rotation, and possible overnight travel. A reliable personal vehicle is required; mileage is reimbursed per policy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, criminal justice, sociology, or closely related field.
• 2–3 years of case management or crisis intervention experience.
• Experience working with survivors of trauma and vulnerable populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate crisis response and safety planning.
• Document progress and coordinate ongoing services per standards.
• Engage families and survivors with trauma-informed, relational advocacy.
• Maintain compliance with program, state, and federal guidelines.
• Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours coverage as needed.
• Travel regionally and use personal vehicle for field duties.
