KEYS Academy, supported by Health Connect America, seeks a licensed Special Education teacher in Virginia. You will design and deliver individualized instruction aligned to each student’s IEP goals within a trauma-informed, structured classroom.

Under the School Director’s guidance, you will promote safety, dignity, and opportunity in every interaction. Responsibilities include SOL-aligned instruction, data-driven planning, collaboration with families and staff, and ongoing assessment to support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Active Virginia Special Education teaching license.
• Endorsement in Emotional Disabilities or SPED endorsement with willingness to pursue.

Responsibilities

• Deliver SOL-aligned instruction and IEP goals.
• Differentiate instruction for varied needs and routines.
• Use evidence-based strategies and positive behavioral supports.
• Coordinate assessment data and progress reports.
• Collaborate with families, staff, and related services.
• Maintain professional, confidential communication and compliance.
