Job summary

KEYS Academy, supported by Health Connect America, seeks a licensed Special Education teacher to deliver individualized instruction aligned with Virginia SOLs and each student’s IEP goals.

You will lead data-driven instruction in a structured, trauma-informed classroom, collaborate with families and staff, and apply evidence-based strategies to support students with emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and active Virginia SPED license required.
• Endorsement in ED/SPED or eligible for SPED endorsement.
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver SOL-aligned instruction and individualized IEP goals.
• Differentiate instruction for varied needs and abilities.
• Use data to guide instruction and monitor progress.
• Lead case- managed IEP meetings and family collaboration.
• Integrate KEYS curriculum and Social Thinking concepts.
