KEYS Academy, supported by Health Connect America, seeks a licensed Special Education teacher to deliver trauma-informed instruction aligned to Virginia SOLs and individual IEP goals. You will implement evidence-based strategies in a small classroom, partnering with families and a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field.
• Active Virginia teaching license in Special Education is required.
• Endorsement in Emotional Disabilities (ED) or related SPED endorsement; willingness to pursue within timeframe.
• Maintains licensure and required certifications throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction aligned to SOLs and IEP goals.
• Differentiate instruction for diverse needs.
• Collaborate with families and related service providers.
• Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and progress documentation.
• Attend IEP meetings and participate in team planning.
