Job summary

KEYS Academy, supported by Health Connect America, seeks a licensed Special Education teacher to join our Virginia program. In a trauma-informed, small classroom, you will implement SOL-aligned instruction and support students with emotional and developmental needs.

You will design IEP-driven lessons, collaborate with a dedicated team, collect data, and foster safety, dignity, and opportunity while using KEYS for a Big Life Curriculum.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and VA SPED license.
• Endorsement in ED/SPED preferred; license must be maintained.
• Experience with SOL-aligned instruction and data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead trauma-informed classroom focused on safety and dignity.
• Deliver individualized instruction aligned to IEP goals.
• Differentiate to meet varied academic and behavioral needs.
• Collaborate with families, LEA and related service providers.
• Maintain accurate progress data and reports.
