Job summary

Colorado Coalition for the Homeless in Denver, CO, is seeking a Front Desk Safety Associate to lead trauma-informed safety initiatives, monitor building activity, and coordinate safety operations to protect residents, staff and visitors.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, experience designing safety programs with trauma-informed care, and strong interpersonal and documentation skills; driving to ensure a safe, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; mental health training preferred.
• Experience designing or administering safety programs with trauma-informed care.
• Experience with case management, housing counseling, or security operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish trauma-informed safety strategies and action plans for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Check in/out individuals, monitor cameras, and identify risks to reduce incidents.
• Complete Safety Zone reports and coordinate care access for residents.
• Coordinate with contract security and emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain records of assessments, interventions and client contact; ensure continuity of care.
