Job summary

SafeHouse Denver is seeking a Director of Residential Services to lead 24/7 residential operations, ensuring safety, quality, and accessibility for survivors and their children. The role reports to the CEO and oversees staff development, program compliance, and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of progressively responsible management or leadership experience in human services or related field.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams including managers or supervisors.
• Significant background in domestic violence, survivor services, housing, or related residential services.
• Experience with 24/7 residential programming, staffing, crisis response, safety planning, and facility operations.
• Strong grounding in trauma-informed and survivor-led practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the overall safety, quality, and daily operations of residential services.
• Ensure staffing, scheduling, crisis-line, and after-hours coverage to maintain safe services.
• Develop policies, procedures, and operational systems in collaboration with residential leadership.
• Represent SafeHouse Denver with funders, partners, and stakeholders.
• Promote equity and survivor-centered practice across programs.
