Job summary

The International Rescue Committee in the United States seeks a Caseworker to provide trauma-informed case management for refugees and ORR-eligible immigrants, supporting their integration and self-sufficiency through a broad range of services.

You will conduct intake, develop self-sufficiency and employability plans, coordinate with partners, track progress, and ensure linguistically appropriate services. A valid driver’s license and travel are required.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Social Work or similar field strongly preferred; comparable related work experience may be substituted.
• 2+ years of case management experience in a social services environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, staff, and partners across cultures.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive case management services for enrolled clients.
• Conduct intake assessments and develop self-sufficiency plans with clients.
• Create Family Self-Sufficiency Plans and Individual Employability Plans.
• Assess progress and coordinate with partners to ensure service access.
• Document client interactions and assist with reporting as needed.
