Job summary

Global Roles in Phoenix seeks a Caseworker to provide trauma-informed services to refugees and ORR-eligible immigrants, supporting integration and self-sufficiency through assessments, planning, direct services, and referrals.

You will conduct intake, develop Self-Sufficiency Plans, coordinate with partners, document activities, and ensure linguistically appropriate services while complying with program requirements. A valid driver's license and ability to travel are preferred.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Social Work or related field preferred; substitute with related work experience.
• 2+ years of case management in a social services environment.
• Experience with vulnerable or underserved populations preferred.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented.
• Ability to communicate and work in a cross-cultural, multi-disciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake services with clients to assess needs.
• Develop self-sufficiency plans and timelines with each client.
• Provide direct services, referrals, and advocacy.
• Receive referrals for case management for ORR-eligible and TANF-eligible clients and participate in case conferences.
• Assess client needs and create Family Self-Sufficiency Plans (FSSPs) and IEPs, focusing on removing employment barriers and obtaining employment.
• Assess and monitor client progress to support attainment of goals and use available resources.
• Follow up with referrals and complete eligibility screenings for program participants.
• Provide comprehensive case management and assist with benefits applications as appropriate.
• Guide participants to access community support services and ensure linguistically appropriate services.
• Complete case notes and maintain data in management systems.
• Participate in program meetings and staff development; adhere to IRC policies.
