Job summary

International Rescue Committee seeks a Safety & Wellness Specialist in Phoenix, Arizona to support asylum seekers and connect them to community resources. You will work directly with clients and conduct outreach efforts to enhance their integration into the community.

Ideal candidates should possess a degree in Social Work or related field, along with at least two years of relevant experience. Strong English communication skills are vital, and bilingual abilities are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related work experience, especially with asylum seekers or vulnerable populations.
• In-depth knowledge of asylum issues and victim's needs.
• Experience in case management or victim assistance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support enrollment for clients in the Humanitarian Reception Program.
• Identify participants for the DEPTH Research Project and coordinate outreach.
• Deliver client-centered services to Safety & Wellness clients.
