Job summary

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a Case Aide in Arizona to provide trauma-informed support to refugees and qualified immigrants, assisting with access to essential services and coordinating with partners. You will help clients stay engaged with plans, navigate systems, and maintain accurate documentation.

Required is a high school diploma and at least 1 year of relevant experience; fluency in English is essential, with refugee/immigrant language skills considered a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience; experience with refugee or immigrant populations preferred.
• Strong relationship-building, diplomacy, and networking skills.
• Ability to communicate and work effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; detail-oriented.
• Problem-solver with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry/digital tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; fluency in English; other languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in accessing essential services such as housing, healthcare, transportation, childcare, and other resources.
• Support caseworkers in implementing individualized self-sufficiency and employability plans.
• Facilitate connections to community programs promoting integration and economic stability.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions in internal databases.
• Coordinate with IRC staff, service providers, and community partners to enhance service delivery.
• Provide transportation or accompany clients to appointments, job interviews, and service agencies.
• Assist with referrals, scheduling, and administrative tasks to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Provide interpretation services when qualified and appropriate.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
