Job summary

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a Caseworker to provide trauma-informed services to refugees and ORR-eligible immigrants, helping clients achieve self-sufficiency and successful community integration. You will conduct intake, develop service plans, and advocate for clients across financial, medical, social, and employment resources.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree Social Work or similar field strongly preferred; comparable related work experience may be substituted.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake services with clients to assess needs and develop self-sufficiency plans.
• Provide individualized support through direct services, referrals, and advocacy.
• Receive referrals for case management for ORR-eligible and TANF-eligible clients and participate in case conferences.
• Assess client needs and create Family Self-Sufficiency Plans (FSSPs) and Individual Employability Plans (IEPs).
• Detail each client interaction in accordance with program requirements and input data in databases.
