Job summary

The International Rescue Committee in Phoenix seeks a Caseworker to provide trauma-informed case management to refugees and ORR-eligible immigrants, developing personalized self-sufficiency plans and coordinating with service providers.

You will conduct intake, document interactions, assist with benefits, and ensure linguistically appropriate services while traveling within the service area. A valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Undergrad degree in Social Work or related field strongly preferred; comparable related work experience may be substituted.
• 2+ years of case management experience in a social services environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office; strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments and develop self-sufficiency plans with clients.
• Coordinate case management for ORR-eligible and TANF-eligible clients.
• Document case notes and maintain client data in databases.
• Collaborate with coworkers and partner organizations.
• Provide trauma-informed, linguistically appropriate services.
• Assist with benefits applications and referrals.
• Drive to service delivery area using a 15-passenger van.
