The International Rescue Committee (IRC) Louisville is seeking a Caseworker to provide trauma-informed services to refugees and other qualified immigrants, supporting positive resettlement and client self-sufficiency. You will develop service plans and coordinate financial, medical, social, and housing resources with clients and partners.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience strongly preferred.
• Experience working with refugee/immigrant populations strongly preferred.
• Fluency in English; Dari/Farsi/Pashto helpful.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate timely pre- and post-arrival services to ensure essentials are provided.
• Conduct intake services with clients to assess needs.
• Develop individualized self-sufficiency plans and SMART goals with clients.
• Provide services including financial assistance, benefits, referrals, and housing.
• Maintain client interactions and document progress per program requirements.
• Assist with tracking and reporting using ETO and related systems.
• Collaborate with coworkers and partner organizations; build community links.
• Travel within service area using personal vehicle or public transport as needed.
• May train and lead volunteers and interns.
