Job summary

The International Rescue Committee in Tucson, AZ is hiring a Caseworker to provide trauma-informed services to refugees and ORR-qualified immigrants, supporting their positive integration and self-sufficiency goals.

You will work with clients, colleagues, and partners to develop tailored service plans, coordinate referrals, and monitor progress while maintaining accurate case notes and ensuring culturally appropriate services. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Social Work or related field strongly preferred; comparable related work experience may be substituted.
• 2+ years of case management experience in a social services environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake services with clients to assess needs.
• Develop self-sufficiency plans and timelines in partnership with each client.
• Provide individualized support through direct services, referrals, and advocacy.
• Receive referrals for case management for ORR-eligible and TANF-eligible clients and participate in any needed case conference meetings to assure continuity of care.
• Assess client needs, create Family Self-Sufficiency Plans (FSSPs) and Individual Employability Plans (IEPs).
• Input client information in database(s) and assist with tracking and reporting as needed.
• Follow IRC policies, procedures and protocols including adherence to the IRC Way and Child Safeguarding.
