Job summary

The Home for Little Wanderers seeks a Life Coach at The O’Connell House to provide direct support, life-skills coaching, and case-management in a trauma-informed setting. You’ll work with residents to develop daily routines, safety plans, and transition readiness, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree or relevant experience, strong communication, and crisis-management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or GED with relevant lived, volunteer, or professional experience may be considered.
• Experience with trafficking victims, trauma survivors, homelessness, domestic violence, exploitation, or complex trauma is preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and maintain professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Uphold program standards, policies, and trauma-informed approach.
• Build professional relationships with residents aligned to individualized goals.
• Provide life-skills coaching on daily routines, budgeting, appointments, and community resources.
• Assist with intake, orientation, goal planning, safety planning, and progress updates.
• Document accurately and maintain required records; participate in meetings and supervision.
