New Hope Treatment Centers is seeking a Behavior Support Coach to provide direct care in a high-acuity residential program for justice‑involved youth. You will deliver behavioral coaching, crisis intervention, and skill-building within a trauma‑informed framework.

The role emphasizes supervision, milieu management, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to promote safety, stabilization, and successful transitions for youth in care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of experience with adolescents in juvenile justice or behavioral health.
• CPR/First Aid and Handle With Care certification preferred or obtainable upon hire.
• Preferred degrees in Psychology, Human Services, or related fields.

Responsabilités

• Develop therapeutic relationships with youth through engagement, mentoring, and professional role modeling.
• Provide continuous supervision and crisis intervention during shifts, programs, and transitions.
• Implement individualized behavior support plans and reinforce interventions developed by therapists.
• Maintain safety and a structured, trauma-responsive milieu while documenting progress.
• Collaborate with therapists, nurses, psychiatric providers, case managers, educators, and DJJ staff to ensure consistent interventions.
