Job summary

Women In Need (Win) seeks a mission-driven Social Service Supervisor to lead a team of Case Managers in Transitional Housing programs in New York. You will ensure trauma-informed, client-centered services and promote best practices while supporting staff development and program compliance.

You will supervise, coach, and develop staff, lead case conferences, and collaborate with housing and service providers to help families achieve stability and permanent housing.

Qualifications

• MSW or related degree required.
• 3–5 years of experience in counseling or case management with homeless families.
• Prior supervisory experience or leadership capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of Evidence-Based Practices (EBP), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Trauma-Informed Care (TIC).
• Experience supporting vulnerable populations, including homelessness, mental health, and housing challenges.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
• Working knowledge of entitlement systems and community resources.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and develop Case Managers to ensure high-quality client-centered services.
• Lead multidisciplinary case conferences and provide crisis intervention for families with complex needs.
• Champion Evidence-Based Practices, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Informed Care across operations.
• Monitor case management services, assessments, and documentation to ensure quality and compliance.
• Audit records to maintain DHS, OTDA, and Win audit readiness.
• Build partnerships with community providers to connect families with housing, mental health, and supportive services.
• Develop workshops, facilitate client engagement activities, and support housing-focused programming.
• Serve on the leadership team, providing operational oversight and supporting program services in the Program Director's absence.
