Job summary

Women In Need, Inc. (Win) in New York, NY seeks a Clinical Director to lead the delivery of trauma-informed clinical services across its transitional housing programs.

You will partner with the AVP to implement standardized social work practices and provide supervision and consultation for staff. The role focuses on trauma-informed care for families experiencing homelessness, supported by DHS THRIVE NYC funding.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current New York State LCSW or LMHC license.
• Minimum 3 years of experience supporting families facing homelessness, trauma, and related challenges.
• Proficiency in Motivational Interviewing and trauma-informed care.
• Strong supervision and staff development skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical supervision and consultation across programs.
• Provide individual and group counseling using trauma-informed and harm-reduction approaches.
• Build and maintain referral networks for mental health and substance use services.
• Lead implementation of evidence-based practices and clinical assessment tools.
• Deliver training in Motivational Interviewing and Trauma-Informed Care to staff.
• Provide clinical oversight and strategic input on mental health initiatives across programs.
