Job summary

Women In Need (Win) in New York, NY seeks a mission-driven Social Service Supervisor to lead a team of Case Managers in Transitional Housing programs. You will ensure high-quality, trauma-informed services for families experiencing homelessness, promote best practices, staff development, and program compliance.

You will play a critical leadership role in helping families achieve stability, independence, and permanent housing, while collaborating with the leadership team on housing initiatives

Qualifications

• MSW or related degree required.
• 3–5 years of experience in counseling, case management, or residential services for homeless families/individuals.
• Prior supervisory experience or demonstrated leadership in social services.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and develop Case Managers to deliver client-centered services.
• Lead multidisciplinary case conferences and provide crisis intervention for families with complex needs.
• Promote Evidence-Based Practices, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Informed Care across operations.
• Monitor case management, assessments, Living Plans, and documentation for compliance and quality.
• Audit CARES records and client charts to maintain DHS, OTDA, and Win audit readiness.
• Build partnerships with community providers to connect families with housing, mental health, and support services.
• Develop workshops and housing-focused programming and client engagement activities.
• Provide operational oversight and support program services in the absence of the Program Director.
