Job summary

Compass Housing Alliance seeks a Housing Case Manager to provide trauma-informed services to program participants, helping them secure and maintain housing. The role includes assessment, advocacy, coordination of services, and collaboration with community partners.

Based in Ballard (Seattle), the employee will report to the Program Manager, work a Mon-Fri schedule, and participate in monthly staff meetings; salary is $29.87 per hour, Level I.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a social/human service setting related to housing and homelessness.
• Experience with trauma-informed approaches and de-escalation practices is preferred.
• Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed case management including assessment, goal setting, advocacy, and service coordination.
• Document case notes, stability plans, and required forms in HMIS and other systems.
• Identify barriers to housing stability and connect participants with housing resources and support services.
• Develop relocation plans and coordinate with partners to support housing stability and tenancy.
• Lead life skills trainings and community programs to promote wellness and housing retention.
