Job summary

Compass Housing Alliance is seeking a Housing Case Manager for Compass Veterans Center Shoreline to deliver trauma-informed case management and advocacy for Veterans in permanent supportive housing. You will assess needs, coordinate services, maintain documentation, and support residents through tenancy and stability planning.

The role emphasizes collaboration with community providers, data entry in HMIS, and crisis de-escalation.

Qualifications

• Experience using trauma-informed approaches in housing/homelessness services.
• Ability to conduct motivational interviewing and strength-based case management.
• Proven ability to document case notes, plans, and data accurately in HMIS.
• Ability to collaborate with partners to address barriers to housing stability.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed case management to participants.
• Document case notes and plans in HMIS and other systems.
• Assess barriers to housing stability and develop plans with participants.
• Coordinate referrals and advocacy with community resources.
• Support housing stability through tenancy and program management tasks.
• Engage with residents and manage crisis or conflicts as needed.
