Job summary

Compass Housing Alliance, a division of Lutheran Community Services Northwest, is hiring a Housing Case Manager in Ballard, Seattle. The role provides trauma-informed case management to adults in permanent supportive housing, coordinating services, and advocating to secure stable housing.

You will work with a diverse team on a housing-first model, maintain HMIS documentation, and collaborate with landlords and community providers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a social/human service setting related to housing and homelessness.
• Experience with housing instability, mental health, substance use preferred.
• Fluent reading, writing, and understanding English.
• Ability to work onsite in Seattle/Ballard area.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed case management and assessments for participants.
• Write case notes and document in HMIS and related systems.
• Develop plans to utilize flexible program funds for housing stability.
• Coordinate with landlords, housing providers, and community resources.
