Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Field Security Shift Supervisor to provide leadership and operational oversight of security services within a healthcare facility for a high profile client. You will supervise Officers, coordinate training, and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements, promoting safety and compassionate service.

The role emphasizes patient-centered, trauma-informed security practices, with collaboration between hospital leadership and security accounts.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass any required state training or licensing.
• Must pass state licensing test if driving company/ client vehicle.
• Post offer training in less-lethal methods (handcuffs, baton, pepper spray, Taser).
• Service in military, Auxiliary Police, or Police Cadets or security experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old (21 if armed).
• Excellent oral and written communication; able to work with patients, visitors, clinical staff.
• Able to operate radios, telephones, and security monitoring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and on-site training for security officers on shift.
• Conduct shift roll-call and site visits; document performance and address concerns.
• Ensure Officers maintain professional appearance and uniform compliance.
• Verify Post Order manuals and training materials are updated and accessible.
• Provide on-the-job training to new Officers; review responsibilities and protocols.
• Handle shift call-offs; assist in post coverage and minimize overtime.
• Stand post during emergencies; cover shifts when needed.
• Initiate investigations and gather information on incidents.
