Job summary

StepStone Family & Youth Services, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is seeking a Foster Care Case Manager to support children and families through trauma-informed, strengths-based practices. You will develop individualized case plans, coordinate services, conduct home visits, and maintain accurate documentation to promote safety, stability, and permanency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, sociology, psychology, counseling, or related human services field and two years’ experience working with children and families.
• Bachelor’s degree in social work, sociology, psychology, counseling, or related human services field and five years’ experience with a placing agency working with troubled children and families may be considered in lieu of a graduate degree.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of case management services, individual and family counseling and training and supervision of foster families.
• Development of individual treatment plans for troubled children and their families.
• Weekly contact with foster families, children, and bio-families; monitor progress of child and family.
• Training, home studies, and evaluation of foster parents.
• Use standardized tools to measure social and emotional progress; prepare written treatment plans and progress reports.
