Job summary

StepStone Family & Youth Services, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, seeks a Foster Care Case Manager to support trauma-informed, youth-centered services for children in foster care. You will provide therapeutic case management, service coordination, and individualized support to promote safety, stability, permanency and positive outcomes.

The role collaborates with foster families, biological families, schools and providers to ensure responsive, coordinated care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, sociology, psychology, counseling, or related human services field and two years' experience with children and families.
• Bachelor's degree in social work, sociology, psychology, counseling, or related human services field and five years' experience with a placing agency may be considered in lieu of a graduate degree.

Responsibilities

• Deliver case management, individual and family counseling, training, and foster parent supervision.
• Develop and monitor individual treatment plans for youth in care.
• Maintain weekly contact with foster families, children, and bio-families; track progress.
• Assist with home studies, training, and evaluation of foster parents.
• Prepare treatment plans and progress reports using standardized tools.

Education

Bachelor's degree in social work, sociology, psychology, counseling, or related human services field

Five years' experience with a placing agency working with troubled children and families (in lieu of a graduate degree)
