Job summary

StepStone Family & Youth Services, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, seeks a Foster Care Case Manager to support trauma-informed, family-centered care for youth in foster placements in Georgia. You will coordinate services, develop individual treatment plans, and maintain regular contact with foster families, biological families, schools, and treatment teams.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a human services field and experience with children and families; a graduate degree

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, sociology, psychology, counseling, or related human services field.
• Two years’ experience with children and families; graduate degree may substitute with five years’ placing agency experience.
• Trauma-informed, strengths-based, family-centered practice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews referrals and matches children with appropriate foster families.
• Places children in state licensed or state certified foster homes.
• Prepares treatment plans for the child within 21 days of placement.
• Maintains weekly contact with foster families, children, and bio-families.
• Attends court hearings and collaborates with placing agencies and schools.
