Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, sociology, psychology, counseling, or related human services field.
• Two years' experience working with children and families; graduate degree may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Review referrals and match children with suitable foster families.
• Place children in state licensed or certified foster homes.
• Obtain required documentation for child in care.
• Maintain weekly contact and monthly visits with child and foster family.
• Prepare treatment plans within 21 days of placement and quarterly thereafter.
• Provide foster parent training and complete home studies as needed.
• Attend court and treatment planning meetings; coordinate with schools and agencies.
