Job summary

Frontier Behavioral Health is seeking a part-time Crisis Triage Specialist to deliver telephone triage and crisis intervention services during evening and weekend shifts. You will assess risk, coordinate with responders, and help design immediate stabilization plans for youth, adults, and families in crisis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health or related field is required.
• Two years of experience serving individuals with behavioral health needs preferred.
• Experience with crisis intervention, including risk assessments, is required.
• Knowledge of WAC, RCW, and best practices for MRRCT and Designated Crisis Responders is preferred.
• Strong engagement and customer service skills with the ability to stay calm during escalated situations.
• Ability to communicate with individuals from varied backgrounds and trauma experiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone triage services to individuals requesting assistance or referrals for crisis intervention and stabilization.
• Complete risk assessments to determine immediate safety needs and potential referrals.
• Manage multiple calls professionally and maintain engagement during crises.
• Collaborate with clients and support systems to develop initial stabilization and safety plans until dispatch.
• Complete comprehensive documentation to support safety plans and interventions.
• Access and connect clients with community resources to address needs.
• Accept delegation and complete expanded assignments within FBH systems such as committees or trainings.
• Maintain confidential client records in accordance with agency policies.
