Job summary

Frontier Behavioral Health in Spokane, WA is seeking a Crisis Triage Specialist to provide telephone crisis intervention and assessments for youth, adults and families.

You will work 11 PM to 7:30 AM with a 10.76% shift differential, handle multi-call triage, document assessments, and connect callers with crisis resources.

A BA in Behavioral Health and WA CAAR credential within 30 days are required; two years crisis experience preferred; strong empathy and autonomy essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Health or related field.
• Must apply for a Counselor Agency Affiliated – Registered (CAAR) credential within 30 days of hire.
• Two years of crisis intervention experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephone crisis triage and intervention for individuals in crisis.
• Complete risk assessments to determine suicide/homicide risk and necessary referrals.
• Manage multiple calls professionally and document interactions thoroughly.
• Collaborate with clinical staff for follow-up and safety planning.
• Maintain current knowledge of community resources to support callers.
