Job summary

Red Rock Behavioral Health Services in Norman, OK seeks a part-time Triage Specialist to triage emergency or unscheduled contacts, determine level of care, and provide crisis intervention under supervision.

Responsibilities include admission screening, completing paperwork, coordinating with the interdisciplinary treatment team, linking to resources, and documenting promptly; requires a high school diploma, preferred bachelor’s, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in any field preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment, tact, patience and understanding.
• Must complete all in-service and external training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Triages emergency or unscheduled contacts to determine level of care.
• Works as part of a treatment team using available resources.
• Completes all required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Notifies officers and local providers for crisis intervention as needed.
• Completes Emergency Order of Detention documentation if applicable.
• Provides linkage to available resources and documents cases per procedures.
• Attends staff meetings and trainings to stay updated on agency policies.
