Job summary

Frontier Behavioral Health is seeking a Crisis Response Specialist I in the Spokane area. You will provide telephone and mobile crisis intervention, conduct assessments, and collaborate with clients, families and community partners to ensure safe, effective care.

Under supervision of a DCR, you will work toward DCR-II, participate in ITA investigations, and navigate interagency cooperation while supporting individuals in crisis across diverse settings.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work or related field from accredited college or university.
• Must meet Mental Health Professional criteria and hold LAAC, LMHCA, LICSW or LMFTA; DOH credential active within 6 months of hire.
• Within 6 months obtain Designated Crisis Responder designation per RCW 71.05.760.
• Must have an unrestricted driver’s license and active auto insurance; willing to use personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Conduct telephone assessments and triage referrals as needed.
• Respond to complex crisis situations with face-to-face assessments and determine need.
• Develop stabilization and safety plans with clients and their support networks.
• Complete documentation and maintain client records in a timely and confidential manner.
• Collaborate with courts, attorneys, hospitals, and other agencies as needed.
