Job summary

The Jewish Community Center Of Staten Island is seeking a Career Services Case Manager (CRED) to support participants in workforce development, training, and job placement on Staten Island. You will use a trauma-informed, client-centered approach to help individuals navigate complex systems and access vital resources.

The role is based in our Career Services department and focuses on community workforce programs, CRED, and economic mobility for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting the CRED target population: under/unemployed adults 18-40 involved in the criminal justice system or impacted by community violence.
• Case management experience and the ability to navigate social services/entitlements.
• Excellent communication skills and cultural competence.

Responsibilities

• Devise and administer needs assessments for participants.
• Coordinate with Mental Health Professional and referral agencies as needed.
• Provide case management and encourage engagement and retention.
• Navigate benefits and resources to help participants complete training.
• Connect participants to JCC departments and external agencies.
• Help participants overcome barriers to program completion.
• Track progress toward goals and escalate cases as appropriate.
• Collaborate with the CRED team for holistic support.
